How to Make Withdrawals

You can withdraw your HSA funds with your debit card, checks, and/or a withdrawal form.  These are also known as “HSA distributions.”

  • Debit card -- We offer an HSA debit card, which provides access to the HSA funds for point-of-sale purchases from your doctor or other vendor of medical services or supplies.
  • Checks -- You can use your HSA account to write a check to a provider to pay for qualified medical expenses or reimburse yourself for expenses already incurred.
  • Manual withdrawal form --You can submit a withdrawal form to us.  We will then send you a check for the disbursement.  You may download a withdrawal form by clicking here.

If you would like to grant your spouse or someone else access to your HSA funds, you will need to designate that person as an Authorized Signer on your account.
