Protection is available for most EFCU loans: Consumer, home equity and credit cards. Depending on the protection selected, Protection Plus will cancel the principal and interest portion of your loan payments up to the agreement maximums if you become involuntarily unemployed, sick, or injured. It can also cancel your loan balance, up to $100,000, if you should pass away.
With Protection Plus, you pay group rates and only buy enough protection to cover your loan balance, making payments truly affordable.

Protection Plus is available beginning January 28, 2008. If you have an existing EFCU loan, you can easily have this protection added by calling us at 225-214-6800.
If your existing EFCU loan has Credit Life or Credit Disability insurance, you can easily convert that policy to this new protection. Call or stop by the nearest branch and we’ll take care of the details.
